Clamping has recently started in the estate for people parking in otherwise rented car parking spaces.

Clamping in the Estate is a major issue amongst its residents as some are told on moving in, that they would be “added to the waiting list.” Most residents try to help each other, there is a wonderful community spirit so this is a putrid approach to community building. Of course, if you are paying 120.00 a month for a parking spot you’re obviously upset it someone randomly parks in your parking space, which is also happening, resident permits have been issued. The problem exists not enough visitor parking spots, the creche is not open, neither are the retail units as of February 23rd 2026, So residents on the “waiting list” are obviously utilising unused parking slots.

If you are clamped and believe it was a mistake or unfair – the appeal process can be found here. https://cpms.zatappeal.com/

Q: If you have a parking spot and you have a visitor calling would they get clamped taking your own parking spot?

A. Yes, if your permit is not displayed on it.

  • So if a permit needs to be displayed – otherwise your visitor needs to pay and park in a visitors parking place only.
  • Permits are assigned to the space, not the car.
  • Permits are associated with the Parking spot only.

  1. Parking has been a nightmare for everyone in the estate – for those who have an allocated place and for those who don’t. Every morning we have to wonder whether our car is still where we parked the previous day or if it’s been stolen. You never know if it’s going to be clamped regardless of paying €120/month or not. We never have peace of mind that the car is safe. It’s simply outrageous.

  2. I’m greatful to have a parking space but I have to keep my work car about a mile away and rotate cars off-site every morning and evening.
My family are afraid to visit due to the worry of being clamped because visitor spaces are extremely limited and never available.

The clampers seem to leave the illegally parked cars (disabled bays, motorcycle spaces) and clamp those in parking spots

  3. Absolute sh*t show worst place I’ve ever lived no way should this be legal don’t even have CCTV and people are having their cars stolen left right and centre???? And paying €120 a month for a parking space that their car is still getting clamped in????……

  4. I was clamped in my own allocated parking space. Place is a joke. Cars getting robbed every week too. We need cctv put in and regular guarda cars coming into estate.

  5. If you were to tell me we would be living in an “affordable living”, you wouldn’t be saying that if you’re paying €120 a month for a permit to park your car then have further issues of having ppl park it and not give an f. Cars being watched by thief’s every day so that they can continue to rob cars – even with high demand for help for a CCTV in the estate, but the LDA or Occu does not care as long as they get their €120, as well as the clampers meeting their quota because they either clamp the cars with the rightful allocated spots or those who have no permit but have been a spot. Most backward place to live in!!! We are still paying 75% the average rental cost, it’s beyond me how the private charge for parking in other places are around €50… with cctv, security on site etc. make it make sense!!

  6. Absolute sham! Over 600 apartments and houses and less than 300 spaces? Nowhere for people to park outside their own home all because of terrible planning and even worse execution!! Plenty of space for many many more spots yet the decision was made to fill those areas with crap looking flower beds and awful excuse for plant life! Clampers need to go they are not making anything better and they will loose more clamps than they have if they keep it up

  7. We knew parking spaces were limited, but this is a joke! They were not transparent, and this is disrespectful. They should find a solution and open more parking spaces, not just hire a clamping company.…
